My tips on making a patio makeover easier

For those of you who didn’t know, a few years ago my husband embarked on helping to find a multi-generational home with his mom and brother. Living in Toronto, it took some time, but with the help of an amazing real estate agent, they found a condo in the Jane & Eglinton area. While the building was quite ordinary from the outside, the interior has been renovated to perfection and it was a fit!

A few years later, during a visit to the city, we sat in the living room chatting and I looked out onto a 12 x 12 balcony that had been mostly unused. That’s when I decided it was time to transform the space into the outdoor oasis the family deserved, and today I wanted to share exactly how I did that!

In 2023, I can assume that most Canadians have tried a meal kit company at least once. From promotion codes via your favourite influencer to incentivize you, to coupons in the mail, it seems as though the choices are ample and the deals are enticing. But if I’m being honest, since the pandemic and our familiarity with the concept as consumers, they all have been doing the same thing. That is, until now. Let me tell you how one meal kit company has completely flipped the industry on its head and why I clearly need to try them out next!

The upgrade I didn’t know we needed!

When it comes to home decor, I love how different Julio and I can be. He is artistic with a flare for the dramatic, while I tend to gravitate to symmetry and balance between bright and dark. The Holiday Upgrades You Need Right Now

That holiday countdown is on and I am absolutely still shopping for the people in my life. When I was younger I was so proud to finish shopping and wrapping before December even started but as I have gotten older, I’ve realized that life gets busy.
