Over the course of the last twelve months I’ve realized I have been talking about Tequila a lot more. Maybe it’s the longing deep in my heart to return to Mexico City and explore the country more with Julio. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m growing up and realizing what I appreciate again. A Getaway Idea That Won’t Break The Bank

As someone that has been trying to pinch his pennies and stick to an excel spreadsheet budget that stares me in the face as I sit down to write this post, I can usually be found scrolling through travel accounts on Instagram or following along with my favourite bloggers while they jetset around the world. Although that once was the life I called my own, I’m actually much happier to be where I am today, saving for a baby with my husband and working towards our dreams.

That being said, just because I’m on a budget, doesn’t mean that I don’t want to take full advantage of the warm weather and enjoy getaways whenever we can.
