Events | The 2014 Delicious Food Show

There is something beautiful to be found in the experiences that food and wine create and the memories we associate them with. Whether it be the way your parents used to cut your sandwiches to the wine that you first sipped when you met your special someone. I’ve said it before, but there is a hidden journey that can be taken with every bite, every sip and every laugh had over both. One of my favourite memories of both Food and Wine in Toronto is my very first Delicious Food Show. This year, I’m lucky enough to have the 2014 Delicious Food Show sponsored by The Food Network launch on my birthday! Come and see why this coming weekend, you’ll be able to find me at The Direct Energy Centre located on the Exhibition grounds enjoying another year of memories, adventures and how you can join me! Lifestyle | Randolph Engineering Sunglasses + Standard Apparel = 1 Fashionable Me

For those of you who know me, there are certain things I am drawn to when it comes to accessories and fashion in my life. One of them of course being my husband to be Julio since he is the main reason why I have rediscovered an appreciation for fashion thanks to FASHIONIGHTS and the amazing life we live. Though the majority of our closet may be his, I in fact own more sunglasses then he does. They have been a staple in my own “fashion” for a very long time and it’s slightly embarrassing to admit how many pairs of designer sunglasses I actually own… But for good reason! I still believe that my bug eyed Dolce & Gabbana’s will come back into style one day. And if not, atleast I have a VERY expensive pair of nostalgia in my collection…

But while I wait for the tides of Fashion to return, lucky for me, I have fallen in love with a new pair of sunglasses. Come and see why Randolph Engineering Sunglasses have become my new favourite pair to wear on sunny days and chilly autumn afternoons. Available here in Toronto at one of our go to’s for all things Fashion, Standard Apparel, these babies are both sexy and sophisticated and a must for my personal wardrobe. Daniel’s Dish | Luckee by Susur Lee

The premise of the column is simple; work with restaurants of all kinds to explore what they have to offer and what makes them unique. In a city like Toronto, the choices are sometimes daunting and the food reviews and critics can be snotty and too complicated for their own good. So why not keep this easy? Drinks. Appetizer. Main Course. Dessert. All along with a bit of information about what makes them my choice for Daniel’s Dish and why you should try them right away!

Health & Nutrition | Yoga Tree Studios opens studio #5 at Bay and Dundas

Review by Catherine’s Cabinet & Daniel Desforges

I feel like nowadays everyone is doing yoga. The internet is littered with photos of people in exotic places posing in seemingly flawless positions posted alongside inspirational quotes or hashtags about how balanced and zen they currently feel. Well, you know what, that’s just not real life. I’m not trashing yoga, it’s incredible, but for once I want to see what someone like me looks like after a 75 minute hot yoga session. (Let me give you a hint, it’s not something I would post alongside an inspirational quote).
