A Complete Plan and Cookbook to Be Vibrant Every Day!

As a Holistic Nutritionist, I go against some of the norm within my industry, as I don’t necessarily believe in intense detoxing or ritualized cleansing (just don’t even get me started on juice cleanses). I do believe in living a detoxifying lifestyle, though. Your body wants to get rid of the junk in order to function properly – you just have to do what you can to help your internal work crew do their jobs safely and efficiently.

There are so many refined, crap-filled, inflammatory foods out there. Now add all that to a barrage of information (and misinformation) being thrown at you daily. “Wait, don’t eat that! Eat this instead!”, “But wait, that’s not good for you anymore, here’s a new and improved BETTER food!”. Uhh okay hold up there, buzzwords – what about REAL food? And who decided that it needs to be so darn complicated, anyways? Not me, I’ll tell you that much.

It’s actually quite simple, folks. And the more you stress about it or cause yourself worry, the less likely you are achieve your health goals – or just be happy for that matter. So, when my friend Joy McCarthy of Joyous Health decided to put out her second book, Joyous Detox, she clearly had all of this in mind.

Chock-full of 100 delicious detox-friendly recipes and an easy-to-follow plan, you’ll learn how to feel fabulous every single day. By shifting the focus onto specific (and frankly, delicious) foods, you can feel like you are detoxing without deprivation. Isn’t that nice for once? And more importantly, you don’t have to give up eating chocolate! Whaaaaat? Yes, that’s important stuff right there. What I like about this book is that it isn’t about denying you, it’s all about nourishing you.

Visually, this book is a stunner. Each section is put together in a way that’s easy to absorb and execute from start to finish. From lifestyle habits to kitchen clean-up tips to tasty recipes, this book is the perfect combination of healthy information and genuine heart-felt love. Joy teaches us that detoxification is a lifestyle, not just a fad.

One of my personal favourites from this brand new book is her Chocolate Chia Mousse! And yes, it has chocolate in it. Did I already mention how much I love chocolate? K, cause I wasn’t sure that you got that yet.
