Spring has arrived (though the weather might not agree) and the Easter season is right around the corner. When I think about Easter, I am reminded of spending time with my loved ones enjoying beautiful occasions & food. One such occasion taking place in Toronto from March 28 – April 6 that I would recommend you enjoy over with your loved ones is a special Easter Themed High Tea at Shangri-La Hotel Toronto. Come & see what egg-citing things they have in store for you!

I loved sharing in a beautiful moment with the people I love and to see how family friendly the experience was from start to finish.

The Easter evolution of the Shangri-La Hotel Toronto High Tea experience is sure to be one you won’t want to miss!

“Chocoholics will appreciate the choice of diverse chocolate creations, from the chic and modern “Golden Egg” weighing four hundred grams and approximately seven inches high, featuring seventy percent cocoa, Valrhona bittersweet chocolate with a touch of coffee, molasses and floral notes priced at CAD$36, to the fun and playful “Toy Egg” made with six different types of Valrhona chocolate featuring hints of honey, vanilla and creamy caramel. Also weighing four hundred grams and approximately six inches high, the “Toy Egg” is priced at CAD$32. Inspect the artistry; capture a photo, or bathe in the chocolate aroma filling the lobby.”

And the season is not limited to just delicious treats and formal tea service. Our friends at Shangri-La Hotel Toronto also have 5 prizes available to be won in the style of Willy Wonka that are sure to put a smile on your face.

“With the purchase of a chocolate Easter Egg ( the “Golden Egg” or “Toy Egg”) or the Easter inspired High Tea, guests will receive a complimentary petite milk chocolate egg with the chance of receiving one of five winning ”red tickets” placed among the petite milk chocolate eggs . One winning petite chocolate egg will be revealed every other day throughout the Easter promotion period from 28 March to 6 April, 2015. “Red tickets” will signify that the person who received the petite egg has won the prize. The prize includes a tour of the pastry kitchen at Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto with pastry chef Kate Seigel for one person (the prize winner) and complimentary High Tea for a year in the Lobby Lounge of Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto for the winner and a guest (two people) once a month for twelve months (May 2015- April 2016).”
