Family Lifestyle | Kandoo – Part 1

So, I may not be a “new” mom, but I’m definitely a mom who is new to having a 4-year-old-spring-time-kindergartener! I had NO idea he could get this dirty! No, but really! When Lyric was younger, I (like most new moms) bathed my lil baby every day. He was just so perfect and new and I didn’t want to mess him up! As he got older, he developed very dry skin, and would scratch himself while he slept until he would cut himself. Now, I’ve learned that bathing your child (or yourself for that matter) every day isn’t the greatest for your skin. So I backed off, started bathing him every other day, or every 3 days. When he started school I noticed he would definitely be a little sweatier than normal, but now that the weather is nice, he comes home just DIRTY! Those recesses spent in the sand, rolling in the grass, practicing his “dance moves” or just running around has him needing to get clean more often.

Thankfully, I’ve discovered Kandoo Body Wash! I feel like an infomercial when I say, “it’s gentle enough on his skin to use every day”, but I actually mean it! haha! We’ve been using it for a while now, and his skin is great! (and he smells good too!) He was so excited when he first pumped the soap to see it was pink! I was excited that when he pumped the soap, the container didn’t topple over! A definite win for design!

When we have a little more time, ie I’m not all done with life at the end of the day, Lyric LOVES having a bubble bath! We do our typical bath routine, empty some of the water, and then add fresh water to make bubbles! I constantly ask as I’m filling the tub, “Is that enough bubbles? ..how about now? … now?” and I think the room would have to fill with bubbles before he’d say yes! haha! One of the best things with the Kandoo Bubble Bath was that the bubbles lasted! He played in them until the water was cold and they were still there!

It’s made with natural shea and cocoa butter to prevent drying and helps skin maintain its natural moisture. Specially formulated for kids with sensitive skin, it contains no sulfates, parabens, phthalates or other harsh chemicals.
