What’s your Biggest #EtiquetteFail?

Okay so picture this. You’re commuting to work or travelling home, minding your own business and enjoying the ride. What does that scenario look like to you? How do you want to be treated? How do you want to feel? I would hope for a peaceful, efficient ride from one destination to another – and that’s usually the case for me. But, sometimes I have been supremely annoyed by someone blasting music, talking loudly or eating smelly food. Not to mention those who decide that they’re not gonna let me use a seat because their bags apparently need somewhere to sit. Hello. I have a bum and your bag does not, good sir.

A Celebrity-Filled Charity Gala to Remember

It was a pretty big night in Vancouver on October 20th, let me tell you. Stars from all over the globe came together to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the David Foster Foundation, presented by Parq Vancouver, the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver and The DOUGLAS. And guess what? We got to be there to live it up with them! Yes, I was in the same room as Oprah. Yes, The Oprah.

Dear Fashion, You’ve Got a New Student

I think it’s safe to say that some of regulars who visit the Do the Daniel blog are probably familiar with me being the “fashion guy” by now. Fashion, for a while now, has been an important part of my life not only as a form of art and self expression, but also as a creative outlet and source of inspiration to other aspects of my life, it allows me to see all the clothing options for men and this excites me. Some days, when I’m down, a good editorial or runway show can completely change my sour mood into a happy day. That’s why I couldn’t be happier and more excited to let you all know that, earlier last month, I got some exciting news that I believe is going to change my career in fashion… forever.
