Last week, I was whisked off to Kelowna for a couple of days with the promise of beer to drink and great food to eat. Now, that’s more than enough incentive to get me to travel out to the west coast of Canada – which holds a very special place in my heart. But when they asked me to travel out there to sample some local craft beers for the Four Points Best Brew Global Tour, how could I say no? I mean, come on now. I’m only human.

Out To Sea on an Iconic Photography Cruise

I freakin’ love being near the water. So, when I moved back to Toronto, I made sure that I could live as close as humanly possible to the beach. And I’ve officially achieved that goal by living in the last house on the street before the boardwalk begins. (Insert jokes about my apartment flooding here). But in all seriousness, actually being out on the water and connected with nature is next level – and something that I crave on a regular basis.

Tips to Enjoy Some Fun Under the Sun

If this is the first time you’re reading one of my posts then there are a couple things you should know about me. First, I am Mexican and a son of the sun! Since I was a little kid, one of my favorite things to do is spend time outside. When the time came for a family vacation, there was no other place to be but the amazing beaches of Acapulco! In its warm deep blue waters, I learned to swim and embrace the sea as my second home. So it only makes sense that 3 years ago I moved from Mexico City to the sunny Playa del Carmen, one of the most beautiful places of the Mexican Caribbean where I can go to the beach at least once a week… cool right?
