Not EXACTLY How I Saw This Year Going

As with most of my more vulnerable and honest blog posts, I am often back and forth on if I want to hit publish at all. While I love that I can sit here and share (sometimes too much ) with you my darling reader, the vulnerability it takes to pull the curtain back and share the whole picture is at times overwhelming.

I want to say that everything in my life is perfect and it’s all smiles and big pay cheques with brand partners, but in reality it’s far from that. And I am sitting at my dinning room table in July of 2022 feeling like I’ve failed in several ways this year and all over again.

Let’s Take a Walk Down Memory Lane

I almost always laugh when I see memes about bloggers and how they take you on a long winded story before they get to the point of the blog post or the recipe they are sharing – you know the ones! While I know that I can be long winded I do hope that if you’re sitting down to read this right now it’s because I bring a certain pizaz to my writing that you enjoy and that resounds with you. Be it your first time on the blog or you’ve been with me since day one nine and a half years ago. It’s Official – We’re Going to Festival Fierté / Montréal Pride for the FIRST TIME EVER

2022 has been the year in person events, and Pride festivities specifically, coming back after the pandemic lock downs. I indivertibly booked myself back to back to back Prides across the country, but as Julio would say, “I’m not mad about it.” As you saw earlier in June we partnered with Destination Toronto and Pride Toronto (click here) – and now it’s time to share that we’ve officially partnered with Festival Fierté Montréal Pride and Tourisme Montréal.

Yes that’s right, we’re off to Montréal and we are bringing you along with us!
