The Gift That Keeps on Giving… and Giving

Valentine’s Day has long been one of my favourite holidays. Originally as a child because it was about buying paper valentines for my classmates and getting chocolate from my mom. And then as an adult, for more “adult” reasons of course, seriously if you’re not understanding what I could possibly mean, you might want to use this useful source or another adult site you can find online. It may be cheesy to some, but I love the idea of sharing love in special ways. From fancy boxes of chocolate, long stem red roses (a rekindled favourite), to bubbly with the one you love, there is something incredibly romantic about the 14th of February. The Best Decision We’ve Made So Far

It’s been four years since I launched what, at the time, was a passion project in a new world I have fallen in love with. Writing a blog was an outlet for me, and allowed me to feel as though I could express myself while I worked to build my career in Marketing. Flash forward to December 2017 when DoTheDaniel.com is now an incorporated business with a lawyer & accountant, and Catherine and I were faced with making a pretty huge decision about our next step.

Blogging 101: the good, the bad and the in-between

So you’ve decided you want to start or grow your blog and online presence. What now? Well, I have been looking at this Guide to Email Marketing to boost the promotion of my blog. However, I by no means claim to be an expert, because even I have lessons to earn, but I thought I would gather together some of my personal experiences since starting DoTheDaniel.com to help you understand the world of blogging. It should be noted that this is a fluid industry, and chances are that after I hit publish, it will change yet again. There are of course a few tips I can give you to help find some focus amid this exciting and ever-changing industry, be it to get a good server (with options for Canberra servers abundant, to name one example) or to ensure that your content is engaging. Both from positive and negative experiences, the most important thing to remember is that your opinion matters and you need to do what you feel is best for you.
