Yet Another Reason to Visit Montreal

With the summer months around the corner and sunshine shinning on my face today while I catch up on emails I find myself feeling inspired to plan travel and day trips with Julio. Our Kia Canada Seltos is ordered and on the way, and it would be a shame if I didn’t take advantage of being so close to Montreal while we live in Ottawa – in case you didn’t have enough reasons to visit the city, a new experience just launched at one of my favourite hotels in the city and I want to tell you all about it!

A Show Stopping Launch You Need to See

For those of you who have been following along with Julio and I over the years, you’ll know that we have loved attending events and bringing you along with us for them. I’m a social person and I LOVE experiencing new things – so when the world seemed to stop amid the pandemic and everything since and events stopped, I lost something I loved. With a sense of moving forward finally taking place, events and in person launches are back, and some would say better than ever. This one was nothing short of a show stopper and I simply HAD to tell you about it!

Canada’s Wonderland is Back, and so is The #WonderCrew!

With the excitement of the summer, of the freedom that vaccinations are bringing, and just a general sense of overwhelming relief comes signs that life’s beautiful moments are coming back as well. From being able to see my niece and nephew outside for family BBQs months after moving to Ottawa, to resuming one of my absolute favourite parts of the warmer weather in Ontario – yes, you guessed it. Canada’s Wonderland is safely re-opening and with that comes another year of Julio & I joining the #WonderCrew. So get ready for many more rollercoaster photos, BTS moments, food and so much laughter in the sun.

Unpopular Opinion: I am Traveling Soon And This is Why

With the world we live in, travel seems to be a hot topic in conversations both in real life and online, and I thought it was time I chimed in on the conversation. Although this post and our upcoming trip may ignite conversations, it’s important to remember that leisure travel is still possible if done in a safe manner with the right precautions in place.

But before you jump down my throat for travelling this week, why don’t you take a moment to listen to why it’s so important for me to do so for my fifth wedding anniversary and why I feel so safe in doing so.
