You’ll remember that in early November, I told you about my favourite holiday memories and how they might surprise you. Shortly afterwards, I was lucky enough to be able to attend one of our favourite holiday events. Thanks to our friends at Nintendo Canada, we joined in on the #NintendoHoliday excitement here in Toronto and got to try all the highly anticipated new games. Turns out, I still love Pokémon and Mario Kart as much as I did years ago, and so now that my new Nintendo Switch is on the way, I wanted to share a bit more about what the holidays mean to me and why I love that I’m still a kid at heart at thirty-five. It should come as no shock that (in large part thanks to Julio) I have rediscovered my love of Nintendo. In fact, it’s not just Nintendo that I have rediscovered my love for, as I would go as far as saying that it extends to the whole gaming industry and the games that I used to play as a child and young adult. I was pleased to see that my skills were still up to scratch with what they used to be, so it’s good to know that I’m still at the top of my game.
