Eating my way through the city by the bay

When it comes to travel, I have my go-to destinations like most of us do. A sense of familiarity that allows me to unwind in some of the most beautiful destinations around the world. But I’ll let you in on a little secret… I love to explore new cities and destinations most of all. There is something incredibly exciting about booking a ticket, landing, and discovering everything for the first time. So when our friends at San Francisco Travel asked me to join them on an international press trip centered around the food culture of San Fran, I knew I couldn’t pass up such an incredible opportunity. Having never been, not only am I excited to try some of the best food on the west coast, but also to see the sights that have made the city by the bay famous!

So without giving too much of the trip away, I wanted to share what the plan for me is. You’ll have to follow along with me on Instagram, Twitter & Facebook to get BTS access to some of the best experiences San Francisco has to offer, but here are a few of the destinations that have been lined up for me and international media friends!

Since we of course have partnered with Marriott International, I am SO excited to be staying at the Palace Hotel! Landing on Tuesday morning, I’ll check into the hotel and unwind for a little while before meeting up with my new friends.

That evening we will enjoying dinner at the hotel restaurant, Pied Piper. After dinner, I’ll head back to my hotel room for a few emails, a drink and a good night’s rest.

Wednesday will include

  • a Pedicab Bicycle Tour
  • Breakfast at the Hotel VIA rooftop
  • a scenic walk to AT&T Park
  • a San Francisco Giants vs. Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Game
  • Dinner at 1300 on Fillmore (I am SO excited!)
  • After dinner drinks at the Tonga Room.
