Who said romance is dead?

While I may be currently living my Miley Cyrus “Flowers” era of love, I am also the biggest fan of romance and can’t stand when I hear people say that it is dead. I don’t think it is dead, I just think that the world is loud and people are tired, and that sometimes it just needs a little encouragement. In hopes of showing those of you who need a reminder what romance can look like, let me tell you about an experience that would have me swooning if a boy took me to enjoy with him.

Being born in Montreal, the city always holds a special place for me. While Toronto will always be home for me, Montreal is magical and like no other city in Canada. That’s why it’s no shock that one of the most romantic experiences awaits us there.

Let’s talk about a spark of love at COMMODORE and the HONEYROSE Hotel and why I think this is the romantic experience with that special someone in your life that will reignite that spark in all kinds of ways.

On February 14 & 15, for $99 per person, enjoy an exclusive four-course menu that will delight your senses.

That sounds positively perfect to me, wouldn’t you agree?

Whether you’re married and in need of a night away from the kids, out with your gurls for a Galentine’s soirée, or dating someone who you don’t want to end the night at dessert with, why not consider a stay at the hotel afterwards.

If a cute boy took me to dinner and invited me to stay the night for Valentine’s Day, The HONEYROSE Hotel would certainly have me feeling pretty impressed and swooning a little bit if I’m being perfectly honest.

I’ve not yet stayed at the property but from their website and social media, I can assure you that this is the vibe I would want for a spicy night in with someone special or with my best Judy.

“With amenities ranging from an indoor pool and rooftop terrace overlooking the Quartier des Spectacles to 7,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces, HONEYROSE Hotel is the ideal business and social hub in Montreal. We are the only downtown boutique hotel with both an indoor pool, hot tub, gym, and an Essentrics® movement studio. Hotel guests also enjoy self check-in, dining and cocktails at COMMODORE Café & Restaurant, and at our Muze Lounge & Terrasse with one of the biggest outdoor terraces in the city.”

If you’re so inclined, “Get motivated and sweat your day off at the hotel gym with new equipment; cross-trainer, treadmill, upright and recumbent cycle, resistance multifunction machine, leg press, leg curl, cross-fit equipment, rowing machine, and dumbbell.”

I’d be much more inclined to work up a romantic sweat in other ways following that meal, but that’s just me. 😏
