ABOUT

What is #DoTheDaniel? It’s the enthusiasm and ability to love what we do while providing our audience with education, entertainment and the ability to join us on our adventures around the world.

It’s Real People Doing Real Things™.

Daniel Reyes

CEO & Founder

With staff around the world, we aim to create engaging content on a daily basis with contributors in Canada and the United Kingdom. Topics including (but not limited to) Health, Family, Food, Travel & Lifestyle help to provide a well rounded expertise to what we create.

We are an ever growing family with new members being added to the team around the world as we continue to expand.

When you ask me about what this site is all about, it’s simple. It’s what, in my opinion, people want. They want a conversation, not a lecture.

Catherine Sugrue

Chief Operating Officer

So who is Catherine Sugrue?  I am a Certified Holistic Nutritionist (CNP) and the founder of Catherine’s Cabinet, created with the goal of offering fun, but accurate and meaningful, health and wellness information.

I have appeared in a number of online and in-person events – including the Harbourfront Hot & Spicy Food Festival, The National Women’s Show, The National Post, Openhartz.com and Live Daytime TV segments in Toronto and Ottawa. After years of travelling and living in numerous different countries all over the world, I now call Toronto my home.

I offer a hands-on, edgy and alternative approach to health and lifestyle.  Eating healthy is not a trend and neither is having fun.  So I’m here to turn the foods you love into the ones that can heal you!

Kadeisha Powell

Community Manager

So, who is Kadeisha Powell? I am many things but also impossible to label. I’m a student who’s currently pursuing an Honours Bachelor Degree of Public Relations and Management at Centennial College, I’m a varsity volleyball athlete who’s entering a third OCAA season, and I’m a community advocate who’s developing a community relations program for the Centennial COLTS Athletic Department.

As you can see I have a love for sports, but I’m also into fashion, music, novels/novel writing, social media and FOOD!!! I’m experienced in social media account development and management. Fun fact: I took on my first Twitter account management opportunity at the age of 15, for Toronto Entertainment Host Devante Burey (BestFan TV). I’m very passionate about my life endeavours. The cause for my inspiration? Living in Toronto! It’s such a booming and lively environment, it just screams, “Take on the world!” I’m very excited to see Do The Daniel do just that! Although I try to be the best I can be in every aspect of my life, I feel like no one truly ever reaches their full potential. There’s always more to learn, and room to grow and improve. I hope I never stop seeking the better half of myself.

Nicola Whyte

London UK Contributor

So, who is Nicola Whyte?  I am a Kiwi living in London, who is well known for my big smile and ready to laugh attitude.  I love to travel the world and immerse myself in the cultures I experience. By day I work for local government, helping to improve areas of London. By night I am a live music fan and blogger.

My main philosophy is – ‘Go Everywhere, Try Everything!’ You can find me in local pubs around London, at the theatre, at the park or playing dodgeball in the local league.  Brunch is my favourite meal of the day, preferably in an offbeat café, although I am well known for my cooking and baking prowess.  As you get to know me, you’ll come to realize that my diary is full of exciting adventures, which I am excited to share with you all!

bbbbbbBrittany Levett

London UK Contributor

Who is Brittany Levett? I am a woman who is passionate about food and finds fulfilment in creative outlets. I have to read the whole menu before ordering and always choose the colour red when given the option.

As a daughter of two former professional chefs I have a lifelong relationship with food and cooking, both of which leave ample room for creativity.

I am a published photographer as well as author and as a contributor for DoTheDaniel.com. I am excited to showcase my love for food, photography and the written word with you all!

Lesli Fairweather

Los Angeles Contributor

Who is Lesli Fairweather? I’m fashion obsessed, but not in the traditionally way. Don’t bother quizzing me on designers and when the skinny jean made its first appearance. I love street fashion and exploring how pop culture and fashion intersect all over the world. My life usually revolves around finding great restaurants, art, music and fitness!

Living in LA for 2 years now, some have congratulated me on making it in this city. But in truth, Los Angeles is an amazing place to live, and though moving here alone was difficult at the beginning, I’ve gotten my footing and I’m moving full speed ahead!

Jennifer Cameron

Ottawa Contributor

So, who is Jennifer Cameron? Good question. Friends call me Jenn or even “J”, but most of them will call me funny and fun loving. My sense of humour and quirky nature has helped me navigate my crazy, but awesome, life with a laugh or two and good dose of deflection. I’m a Holistic Nutritionist on the way to certification, Birth Doula, current student, mom of two, and a passionate animal lover. I currently focus my talents on fertility awareness, preconception and pregnancy nutrition, assisted birthing techniques and post-partum support for all couples. I strongly believe that every loving couple is entitled to have children (#family4everyone) and I empower women to have the birth experience that they desire. It is my mission to support and encourage new and experienced families alike at www.jennifercameronwellness.com.

I’m always on the hunt for the perfect cup of tea or Instagram shot. I’m obsessed with food pics and dogs (cats are cool, too). I’ll try anything once, sometimes twice. I have been a corporate wellness speaker, a guest blogger for health care professionals, and a contributor to Ottawa Woman Magazine. I run a busy clinical practice and, in my down time (which is very minimal some days), I can be found spending time with my partner, two teenage boys and 3-legged rescue dog Zachary.
