We’re all so busy these days. And as much as I’m not a huge fan of that word, I get it… the struggle is real and it’s hard to fit everything into your schedule, especially when you’re on the go. But, I also believe that you make time for what’s important to you. And your health should be one of those things for sure, no matter what you’re doing or where you’re going. USA, Japan, France, Italy & Germany, Oh My!
So let’s talk about the things that make me happy. Travel, obviously, is at the top of my list because the idea of exploring the world makes me feel more connected with it. Cooking, because it is something I’m quite good at and makes me feel grounded, even in the craziest of situations. Love, although let’s be honest, that’s a given by now as you all know. Our dog, because she’s one of the best parts of my life and one of the best decisions we have ever made. My family, because they support me as I work towards goals while reminding me of where I came from. And that’s just to name a few. I think sometimes it’s important to make a list of the things that make you happy because life is full of distractions, trials, and sometimes we can easily forget. Lately I am coming to appreciate the simple things in life. Cuddling on the couch with my husband on a Sunday afternoon, in a pair of sweats, ordering a pizza and watching anime would be my version of heaven. While the world of social media can be deceptively driven by FOMO and Facetune, I am so proud of the fact that Catherine and I work tirelessly to encourage our staff to be real. Real isn’t always pretty, but it feels like we are reaching more and more people these days who turn to us because we aren’t the “standard” of picture perfect.
