Everything is about to change

Have you ever had one of those moments where you realize you are on the brink of something big? Lately, I have been having that feeling in a lot of difeferent capacities. But especially when it comes to our partnership with Huawei Mobile Canada. I’m also a bit of believer that things happen at exactly the right moment, when we are most ready for them. For as long as I can remember the number 16 has been my favourite number. Two years ago, on August 16th we adopted Canela. On September 16th my niece Rebecca was born. On October 16th it was my last day at my full time job and the beginning of running Do The Daniel full time.

So what is so important all of this you ask? Well, October 16th 2017 marks another exciting day for myself and Huawei around the world. The #HuaweiMate10 is being revealed in Munich, Germany and the world of mobile devices as we know it is about to change.  Continue reading “Everything is about to change”

Thinking outside the box

As Julio & I continue our hunt for a new home, I have started to compile a list of things I would like to get us for the new space. Figuring out where to move is definitely a challenge since there are so many amazing properties out there. We even saw some amazing tiny homes, and you can check them out here, but we are definitely trying to find somewhere with a lot more room. From furniture for the added rooms (not yet a crib, but hopefully soon thereafter!) to appliances I never had the space for. Hopefully things like the windows will be fine, although we know we can get someone like grandjunctionwindow.com out to replace them, should we need or want to, but it’s definitely not something we’re planning to spend on. However, one of the items I will absolutely treat us to is a new television for our living room. Last year, our TV just stopped working, and we went through a long process of finding a suitable replacement, picking the right antenna, installing it in our living room… and then the replacement turned out to be less than great. While it wasn’t the best one on the market, I still thought it would be a better product than it turned out to be. So when we were introduced to the latest advancement in television technology and design earlier this year, I knew that I deserved the best on the market. Continue reading “Thinking outside the box”

A love letter to my teeth

For many of us, the idea of smiling for a photo is second nature. But to be honest, I haven’t always been a fan of the process. For many years I would drink a pot of coffee a day and chain smoke cigarettes. I should have been reading through a crest 3d white strips luxe review at the time, but I didn’t. I just got worse with my smoking habit. Not to mention acidic foods, red wine, and all the other stuff that makes life amazing but takes its toll on my pearly whites. It then came as no surprise to find out that anyone who was going through what I was experiencing opted to look into finding the right treatment through Dentist Endicott. You don’t think about it, but your smile makes such a massive difference to your overall appearance and when it’s not a good feeling when you’re always feeling self-conscious about it.

So when I turned thirty a few years ago, I decided it was time to take care of my smile. My best friend recently had a dental treatment at Dentist Modesto and she’s never been happier with her smile. I decided I wanted to make a change to my teeth so that I could smile with confidence Continue reading “A love letter to my teeth”
