I like to consider myself well-rounded when it comes to my life. I can keep up with Julio and our blogger friends in the world of fashion and events, wine, restaurants, balance out my worklife and all things Toronto. So I’ve been mulling over the idea of a new ‘column’ of sorts for the Food & Lifestyle section of the blog and I finally came up with the concept: Daniel’s Destination.  This new column will focus on new and fun locations in the city of Toronto, or travel destinations that are trending and unique.  So during a recent visit to the Visit California event (blog post on it’s way soon!) Food | Churchill Cellars Ltd. Portfolio Tasting

Earlier this month, I was invited to the Ed Mirvish Theatre for the 11th Annual Churchill Cellars Ltd. Portfolio tasting. You all know how much I love wine, and I felt like a kid in a candy store – I couldn’t wait to dive in and try all of the fun & fresh new products!

Entering the event, the wine was organized in a fantastic way,  it was like a tour around the world, leading up the stunning staircase and around, then once again back down.
