The adventure continues

By now it should come as no surprise that I am loving the energy surrounding 2017 and all things #Canada150. We have some exciting partnerships that we will be announcing soon to help celebrate with Canadians from coast-to-coast. When I stop to think about Canadiana and the celebrations, there is of course several brands that come to mind. Recently I had the pleasure of attending a special announcement from Hudson’s Bay where they announced the launch of the commemorative Hudson’s Bay Grand Portage items that will help to connect Trans Canada Trail’s Great Trail in celebration of Canada’s 150th Birthday through its Grand Portage fundraising program. “The Great Trail, which is the longest recreational trail in the world, will finally connect Canadians from coast-to-coast-to-coast, leaving a great Canadian legacy to be enjoyed for generations to come.” Continue reading “The adventure continues”

Travel & Lifestyle | When worlds collide – Hudson’s Bay x Barbie

There are a few things that I consider to be quintessentially Canadian. In many way, Canada was historically founded by the Hudson’s Bay and since that time, it has helped to shape and mold our country into the great white north. Recently, Hudson’s Bay announced that they will be releasing a limited edition Barbie adorned in the iconic Hudson’s Bay stripes. I could not be more excited about getting my hands on one! I believe that Barbie has the power to help shape the children of Canada with their ideals and toys. Events | Our top 5 gifts from Hudson’s Bay that Dad really wants for #FathersDay

Let’s be honest, Dads across the country sometimes get the short end of the stick when it comes to Father’s Day. Mother’s Day is one of those occasions that we go all out and spoil mom, but what about Dad?! Something as sweet and sentimental as this custom photo lighter, with the opportunity to engrave any picture or sentiment on it, is enough for father’s around the world to be appreciative. I know that in our home as we start to plan for a family, Father’s Day will be twice as big because our little ones will have two to celebrate. I’m already looking forward to any homemade and personalized gifts they decide to give me. Last year they gifted me a Custom Camera Roll Keychain with their photos on it but went for a homemade keychain instead. I loved it, so I’m excited to see what we’ll get this year. My children aren’t the only ones thinking about Father’s Day. I have to think about what I’m going to get my dad and my brother. My Dad has been such a huge part of my life and is the reason I am the man I have become AND my brother is celebrating his first #FathersDay.
