Christmas markets are one of those things that help me get into the holiday spirit. Growing up in Ottawa, I used to look forward to the local German Bazaar  with my mom and grandmother. It became a tradition and one that helped me celebrate the holidays in a special way. Now that I have started my own family with my husband here in Toronto, I have created traditions of our own that I look forward to every year. Travel & Lifestyle | My Top Ten Foodie Favourites in Liberty Village – come #ShopTheHood with me!

One of my favourite things about living in Toronto is the ability to explore and immerse yourself in all the different neighbourhoods the city has to offer. Each of them offers something unique when it comes to shopping and recently my friends at Yellow Pages, who promote year round local shopping through their campaign Shop the Neighourhood, asked me to compile my Top Ten favourite places in Liberty Village. Being that I call this neighbourhood home, it should come as no surprise that half-way through compiling my list, I realized that all ten destinations were for food lovers.
