Just when I thought I had experienced it all

I wanted to sit down to write a blog post about turning 40 and all thing moments, memories and experiences I’ve worked so hard to experience and share. Amid juggling the concept and structure of the blog post – a process which can sometimes take a few hours or a few days – I got a note from the team at Netflix Canada. It had just under a week since I last got behind the wheel of my car to drive to Toronto, but I knew it they asked I would do it again. Much to my surprise, the event in question was in Ottawa and was an intimate gathering around a mini series that was launching in early November. Little did I know that while ruminating on the past I was about to have an immersive experience that I simply had to tell you about.

Events | The importance of date night & why we can’t wait to see KEANU

I like to believe that I’m the romantic one in our relationship. I send love letters, buy “just because flowers” and enjoy surprising my husband with tokens of my love. One thing that Julio is better at is impromptu date nights and taking me out to enjoy some us time away from the busy day to day life we live. One way that we do that is to go to the movies and enjoy spending some time together with our body weight in popcorn. It’s one of the reasons why I am so excited for Warner Bros. Travel & Lifestyle | Gillette & Stark Industries join forces

For those of you who don’t know, Julio is probably the biggest comic fan I have ever met. Yes, one of the leading Canadian Fashion Blogger goes completely nutters over anything comic book related and we own more collectibles than I care to admit. But it’s his young-at-heart attitude that makes me love him even more. So when I found out about the prototypes being launched in conjunction with Gillette & Stark Industries in lieu of the upcoming AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON ,I simply had to take the time to tell you all about them while Julio has a total freakout.
