Does looking good mean you need to break the bank? I like to think that as I’ve gotten older I have learned to pinch my pennies to save for the big things in life. In March, I came to realize that as someone who used to hate the colour blue – I’ve sure picked up a lot of blue items lately. February’s challenge was all about romance, while March was meant to encourage the warm weather to arrive.
Spring in Canada is one of those times that can be cool one minute and warm the next. This month I chose to pick up a new jacket and shirt for those sunny days running around the city without breaking the bank – after all, you’ll remember that I have a strict budget of $200 to stick to! So what did I choose?

This jacket has become that item because it is comfortable and helps to keep me warm on those chilly spring mornings. Not to mention the fact that I’ve REALLY been trying to get fit and it’s snug fit helps to show off my body. A must for the spring!

Short sleeves are my best friends – especially as the weather gets warmer. This fitted shirt has a playfullness about it and I love the anchor print that you notice when you get up close and personal. And blue. Again. Who knew?!
