Travel & Lifestyle | My Top Ten Foodie Favourites in Liberty Village – come #ShopTheHood with me!

One of my favourite things about living in Toronto is the ability to explore and immerse yourself in all the different neighbourhoods the city has to offer. Each of them offers something unique when it comes to shopping and recently my friends at Yellow Pages, who promote year round local shopping through their campaign Shop the Neighourhood, asked me to compile my Top Ten favourite places in Liberty Village. Being that I call this neighbourhood home, it should come as no surprise that half-way through compiling my list, I realized that all ten destinations were for food lovers. Travel & Lifestyle | The Nation’s Capital Embraces Andaz Ottawa

I recently moved back to Toronto after living in Ottawa for about a year and a half.  I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with the city, so I was feeling relieved to be back in Toronto again. But when Daniel mentioned that he would like me to go to Ottawa for the opening of a new hotel, I laughed pretty freakin’ hard. My first thought was, “yeah but I just left and now you want me to go back there?”. I reluctantly agreed, excited for the opportunity, but not expecting too much out of my experience.
