“According to the 2014 Food Banks Canada Donor Impact Report, more than 4 million Canadians don’t know where their next meal is coming from. In the coming year, McCain Foods will donate one million dollars worth of food and monetary support to Food Banks Canada, and help fill the plates of those in need.”
Now THIS is a cause I will happily stand behind. Many people don’t realize this about me, but when I was a young boy my parents relied on The Food Bank during some pretty tough years for our family. There are Canadians each and every day that still struggle with providing for themselves and their children. My family personally benefited from this system and I know that many of us don’t realize that we most likely interact with someone during our day to day business who currently does as well.
The #McCainShareGood Campaign is one of the ways that McCain Foods Canada aims to help alleviate and hopefully one day eliminate these alarming needs from coast to coast.

My good news is that I am blessed to have an unconventional family that loves and supports me. I have experienced a lot of ups and downs in my life, as I am sure most of you have. Alongside Julio, Amanda and Catherine, I now have a supportive “family” that helps to inspire me to overcome any challenge and tackle life’s hardships. Though we get to live an amazing life via this site and the adventures we share with you on social media, we also face the same challenges you do. Family is the most important factor in my life and will always be the driving force behind what keeps me going, keeps me smiling and keeps me inspired. No matter what shape or size your family may be, be it by blood or simply by love, know that they are there for you no matter what. Especially when times get tough.
