DYK that February is #HeartMonth? This year makes the month extra special for me because I lost my Dad to a heart attack. Now, more than ever, I have come to realize the importance of being heathier and happier. While my family went through an incredibly difficult time, we also understood the importance of giving to a good cause. Instead of flowers or gifts of condolence, we asked our friends and family to make a donation in my Dad’s name to Heart & Stroke. Tips to treat the one you love

Over the past few weeks, I have been reminded of the importance of disconnecting in order to reconnect with those I love. Sounds like a simple idea, but it’s actually a lot more difficult than you might imagine. As someone who “lives online” it can be difficult for me to not feel guilty if I don’t look at my phone every five minutes.
