Realizing I might not be as okay as I thought I was…

January 25th is an important day for Canadians from coast-to-coast. #BellLetsTalk is a day to realize that it is time to end the stigma surrounding mental health. It’s also the day that I stopped and realized that I might not be okay. I like to think I am a strong person, but admitting that I need help is in fact one of the strongest things I have ever done. If it’s a new year, why are you still having the same ol’ bad night’s sleep?

When it comes to living a healthy lifestyle, one of the main factors in your overall health is sleep. I won’t jump the gun on Catherine’s upcoming sleep post in partnership with Casper (I got a preview and it is something you do NOT want to miss!), but I can share from personal experience that adding Casper to our lives was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. And now that Catherine understands first hand what I mean, you’ll be seeing a lot more from us about sleep when we aren’t taking a quick nap. Are you Super Bowl Sunday ready?

Super Bowl 2017 is around the corner, and though this may surprise many of you, I look forward to it every year. NO, not just because this year Lady Gaga will be performing the Half Time Show. I think it has something to do with the fond memories of getting excited for the big game with my Dad when I was growing up. Oh and maybe the fact that this time I’ve placed a bet on the SuperBowl results using the likes of Sportsbooks.ag, let’s hope for some winnings! It’s a bit different to now than when I was growing up… My mom would get all the best snacks ready for days beforehand, my Dad would usually scream at the television as a good sports fan does, and we would all talk about how silly it was that we couldn’t see those coveted US #SuperBowl commercials in Canada. He even used a betting site similar to FanDuel, which got him further immersed into the game! It was a family event and one that I genuinely look back on and cherish all these years later. Not yet launched, and already we are coveting this new fragrance

Is there anything better than a good tease? Recently we noticed that our friends at Guerlain have the beauty world hot & bothered with the recent announcement of Angelina Jolie is their new muse for an upcoming fragrance release. I consider Guerlain one of those indulgences that makes life a little more beautiful. Having recently experienced a facial with Julio at their Toronto boutique, it was one of the most relaxing experiences of my life. So I can safely state that I am just as excited about this upcoming launch, and we are lucky enough to be getting the opportunity to preview what it is all about in a few short weeks.
