Toronto is about to get a HUGE outdoor circus experience you don’t want to miss!

While Ottawa is home, I still often find myself checking in on the scene in Toronto. Not only because it’s where I can see my husband amid all of this, but because that city will always hold a special place in my heart. Thankfully small breaks in a busy schedule allow me to come back for visits and this summer I am lucky enough to be getting a preview of Together Apart, Summer Cirque 2021 – and trust me when I say that this is going to be one of the hottest experiences this summer!

Everybody Remembers Their First Time

It’s that time of the year – I’m over winter, tax season is approaching and I am in dire need of some excitement. This is around the time I start threatening to run away and join the circus. When I was a little boy, my parents would take my brother and I to the circus and I marvelled at the incredible acrobats and tight-rope walkers, the beautiful elephants and majestic lions with their tamers, the funny clowns (now scary – thanks for that Stephen King!) and all the colourful performers under the big tent.
