Who said romance is dead?

While I may be currently living my Miley Cyrus “Flowers” era of love, I am also the biggest fan of romance and can’t stand when I hear people say that it is dead. I don’t think it is dead, I just think that the world is loud and people are tired, and that sometimes it just needs a little encouragement. In hopes of showing those of you who need a reminder what romance can look like, let me tell you about an experience that would have me swooning if a boy took me to enjoy with him.

Consider this your sign that you should book that trip to Barbados

As I sit in the house, looking out the window at the snow gently falling, I am reminded that the winter in Canada is absolutely beautiful. That being said, I also can feel my patience towards waiting for the smallest of glimpses of the sun to appear briefly wearing thin.

That’s why I am beyond excited to be leaving for Barbados for the first time ever and how excited I am to take you along with me via social media.

Let’s make 2025 the year we stop explaining ourselves

Over the course of the last few weeks, I have been quietly planning and getting to work. For those of you that are new here at the blog, hello and welcome. Without rehashing the past, 2024 was quite a transformative year in my life. Out of the proverbial ashes of it all, I promised myself to use the beginning of a new calendar year to focus my attention forward to the life I want for myself and to stop at nothing to make it happen.

Moving back to Toronto permanently as soon as I can afford it. Once settled, adopting another dog as a companion. Working on my spiritual & emotional well-being consistently. Preparing myself mentally for all the things that have to happen that I can’t stop. And most importantly of all, I promised myself that I would take my physical health much more seriously for myself.

Holiday Cocktails That Will Get You on Santa’s Good List

Now that Canadian Thanksgiving has come and gone, I know that for a lot of people (myself included), it’s time to start thinking about the holiday season. From friendsmas get togethers to family meals, secret Santa to gift ideas, I know that I am getting more and more excited with each new day.
