The premise of the column is simple; work with restaurants of all kinds in this amazing city to explore what they have to offer and what makes them unique. In a city like Toronto, the choices are sometimes daunting and the food reviews and critics can be snotty and too complicated for their own good. So why not keep this easy?

This episode of Daniel’s Dish is a bit different. This one features the #iheartbosk dinner I hosted alongside the incredible bosk restaurant located at the iconic Shangri-La Hotel Toronto. This dinner was something I have been planning for months behind the scenes. Alongside The Shangri-La Hotel Toronto team, we brought together a group of people I hand picked from various fields to best represent their blogs and areas of expertise. Imagine the following situation. It’s midnight in the city of Toronto and you’re walking down a back alley off of Queen Street West. The sounds of the city surround you and the night is alive with energy and intrigue. You find the marked door you were told to look for and when you walk in you descend into a crowd of like minded people and wine lovers who are enjoying a themed midnight wine tasting. Events | Macaron Day Toronto 2014

March 20th 2014 marks the third annual Macaron Day Toronto in celebration of this one of a kind dessert. Alongside several other cities around the world including Paris, New York, Vancouver & Montreal, this day is meant to showcase the best Macarons that Toronto has to offer. “Is there a better way to celebrate the first day of Spring?
