This morning I sat down to watch my latest segment on Cityline, freshly made coffee in my favourite mug, and I was happy. I think that for a lot of us, those brief moments of happiness can get overshadowed by the stress, the woes. the do lists, and everything else we all have on the go. It’s such a privilege to be doing what I do and sharing it with you all, and I wanted to take a moment to send that moment of joy into the world. My Lunar New Year Must Have Items – 恭喜发财

I remember the first time I heard a friend wish me 恭喜发财 (gōng xǐ fā cái) – and I came to learn about the lunar new year, I fell in love with the traditions. A rough translation meaning “Wishing you wealth and prosperity” (both of wish I could use more of in 2020) I thought that to celebrate I would share some beautiful lunar new year items that I am hoping to add to my life this year from brands Julio & I love.

Not yet launched, and already we are coveting this new fragrance

Is there anything better than a good tease? Recently we noticed that our friends at Guerlain have the beauty world hot & bothered with the recent announcement of Angelina Jolie is their new muse for an upcoming fragrance release. I consider Guerlain one of those indulgences that makes life a little more beautiful. Having recently experienced a facial with Julio at their Toronto boutique, it was one of the most relaxing experiences of my life. So I can safely state that I am just as excited about this upcoming launch, and we are lucky enough to be getting the opportunity to preview what it is all about in a few short weeks.
