Happy Summer, friends! Don’t you just love love summer produce? Here in the UK, we miss out on the incredible bounty from Canada (oh Ontario peaches, how I long for you!) but are fortunate enough to have access to Spanish tomatoes. And the Spanish grow some incredible ones. They are such masters of growing tomatoes that they even have a food fight with them every August.

Though I hope you use yours to make this salad instead.

A Day Under the Tuscan Sun

On a recent press trip to Venice, I decided to make the most of the Dolce Vita and explore another part of Italy…. Florence! Just a 2.5-hour train ride away, I opted to take the earliest train there, and latest back to give myself a full day in the historic city. Brimming with culture, history and cuisine I spent a fair amount of time researching before heading off for the day. With just a few hours in Florence, I knew I needed to make every second count. I’ll be sharing some highlights and must-sees from my glorious day under the Tuscan sun.

A little bit of Italy in the heart of London

When it comes to creative gift ideas, chances are we could all use a little bit of help. With new staff members being added to the #DoTheDaniel family on a regular basis, I am constantly learning about beautiful experiences and destinations around the world from their perspective. It is no surprise that I would want to talk about London since it is in fact one of my favourite cities. London has a bustling hub of businesses that are loved by people from all over (of course, including me), so hopefully, they use Accounting services for london based businesses to keep them afloat as we want them here for a good long while. Health & Nutrition | Coupe Rogers with Nespresso

I love Montreal.  I spent many days there wandering the city as an angsty teenager in search of great food, new clothes and unique live music venues.  One of the perks of moving back to Ottawa is having the proximity to this wonderful european-like city again.  So, when I got the call that Nespresso wanted to send me there on behalf of Do The Daniel for Le Coupe Rogers, I immediately said yes… or oui!
