#TIFF16 | #EssentialsLounge7 could not have been better

The Toronto International Film Festival is one of my favourite times of year, and the whirlwind surrounding it amid screenings and events can lead to a busy schedule to say the least. This year our 2016 coverage included some of the best screenings, celebrity soirées and of course gifting lounges. Events | Come get a sneak peek event to celebrate the launch of Nintendo’s YO-KAI WATCH 2 games and toys!

For those of you who have gotten to know me over the years, you’ll realize that I am a big kid at heart. When we have the opportunity, Julio & I can usually be found on Saturday mornings eating sugary cereal watching cartoons. Amid Pokémon, Power Rangers and a few others, we’ve gotten looped into the world of YO-KAI WATCH. That’s why when our friends at Nintendo told us about a sneak peek event taking place here in Toronto to preview the NEW YO-KAI WATCH 2: Bony Spirits and YO-KAI WATCH 2: Fleshy Souls video games for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems before they come out on September 30, we knew we HAD to there. Travel & Lifestyle | When worlds collide – Hudson’s Bay x Barbie

There are a few things that I consider to be quintessentially Canadian. In many way, Canada was historically founded by the Hudson’s Bay and since that time, it has helped to shape and mold our country into the great white north. Recently, Hudson’s Bay announced that they will be releasing a limited edition Barbie adorned in the iconic Hudson’s Bay stripes. I could not be more excited about getting my hands on one! I believe that Barbie has the power to help shape the children of Canada with their ideals and toys. Travel & Lifestyle | It’s time to get away with Catalonia Hotels & Rauxa Tulum

The summer is coming to an end, and with that, it means that it’s probably time to start thinking about a vacation. I know that I could use one!
