Maybe It’s Time For A Refresh This Spring

With Spring cleaning, purging our closets to do consignment here in Ottawa in an effort to put a bit of money in our pocket, donating items that could use a good new home, I’m all about making the right changes to my mindset and my home. Of course Spring also usually brings the launch of some of my favourite brands with the latest model – and this year Vitamix definitely has me browsing which model I could see on my counter.

I’m sitting at my laptop today looking through photos of travel experiences from around the world and realizing that my wandering spirit needs a new experience, and soon. I’ve loved exploring more of Canada over the last few years and recently I was introduced to several destinations that have become favourites, alongside a few experiences I can’t wait to book for the first time!

Finding That Middle Ground

It seems like we haven’t sat down together in a long time. Like many of you I have been busy enjoying life and the travel opportunities that have presented themselves to me over the last few months. I am often jet setting from one destination to the next in break neck speed that I forget to stop and really appreciate the moment. In life I find things can get like that pretty easily if you don’t remind yourself that it’s more about the journey than the destination. Thankfully, recently I was able to find that literal and proverbial middle ground with Julio & Rebecca in Kingston.

The Stars Aligned For This One

We all know that by default I’ll usually enjoy a glass of Rosé at any time of year, but especially in the summer months. Some of you also know that I am inching towards 40 years old next year and therefore grew up in the 80s and 90s, which in my opinion, are the best years of all musicly. SO…. When I found out that when a king of 90s music has teamed up with a king of the wine world (that I’ve shared about before) to release a bottle of Rosé my heart was aflutter and I had to tell you all about it!
