Sharing What’s Nouveau Just in Time For The Holidays

This past weekend, Julio & I put up the Christmas tree and started to decorate for the holidays. With a trip to Paris around the corner, not to mention dinner plans with friends and family leading up to the holidays, it’s time for me to start thinking about what gifts I am getting. Not only for those I love, but also for myself ! What’s your Biggest #EtiquetteFail?

Okay so picture this. You’re commuting to work or travelling home, minding your own business and enjoying the ride. What does that scenario look like to you? How do you want to be treated? How do you want to feel? I would hope for a peaceful, efficient ride from one destination to another – and that’s usually the case for me. But, sometimes I have been supremely annoyed by someone blasting music, talking loudly or eating smelly food. Not to mention those who decide that they’re not gonna let me use a seat because their bags apparently need somewhere to sit. Hello. I have a bum and your bag does not, good sir.

A YSL first is coming to town

When I think about YSL Beauty, I always think back to the early days of dating Julio. When he would stay over at the house I was living in at the time, and in the morning he would shower and start his beauty routine. I’ll never forget how excited he was to tell me about touche éclat when I told him that I didn’t know what it was. Since that day, Julio and his love of YSL beauty has continuously kept me informed on beauty trends using some of the best YSL products. So much so, that his enthusiasm has become contagious, and I find myself picking up the latest items for Catherine & I regularly. A new addition to my collection

For those of you who know me, you’ll have seen that over the years I’ve become a bit of a collector. As a child I was into Pokémon cards (I should probably find those again. Someone told me they’re worth something now…) As I grew up, I like to believe that my taste level grew up to. When I started to see the release of the #HennessyVerySpecial bottles from Hennessy Canada, I knew I had to have them. Unique pieces of art, in collaboration with unique artists from all walks of life. This year, the collection is centered around the one and only Jon One.
