I have a tough time expressing myself. You’d never know it given my industry – marketing. I mean my job is to tell stories for a living! And I’m really good at it. But when it comes to explaining the way I feel about something personal, I can’t seem to put it into words.
Did you know that November 25th is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women? As more and more stories of victim-shaming keep occurring, I am excited to attend the Blamé Launch Party to have a very real conversation about this subject matter and to support a very real statement surrounding victim-shaming. I’ll be really honest and admit that for a very long time, I had a vague idea of what CrossFit was all about. I knew it usually meant that you were extremely fit, but I also thought that it involved ropes and throwing car tires around. Recently the team at Reebok Canada invited me to learn more about CrossFit by having me visit one of their Toronto CrossFit gyms (Reebok CrossFit Firepower located in Milton) and attend the 2016 CrossFit Invitational. After this experience, I feel a renewed sense of physical fitness and have been outfitted with items that I will need to start towards new fitness goals. Crossfit has been amazing and the CrossFit benefits are even better than I imagined. The 2016 Gentlemen’s Expo returned to Toronto yet again, and this year has some of the most amazing exhibitors and events taking place. Thanks to The Concierge Club, I was able to enjoy the expo on day one of three and encourage you to get your #TGE2016 tickets today to do the same. I absolutely love attending this expo and it’s a great way to meet new people! Plus, there are always some fantastic displays and booths to look at and learn from. Of course, there’s always one booth that stands out but I’ll let you decide that one for yourself!
