Food & Wine | Gaucho Hampstead Terrace Event

I was recently invited to the terrace event of Gaucho Restaurant in Hampstead Heath. Gaucho is a group of Argentine eateries located in the UK, Dubai and Hong Kong. Their exclusive steaks are sourced from 45 farms from the lowlands of Argentina and are all free range, organic and employ local farmers and farming practices.

They also have a 17 page wine menu. All from Argentina.

And they make their own sausages.

Travel & Lifestyle | Church Road Wine Tour

Take me to Church: Church Road that is!

The past few days on the central North Island of New Zealand were full of cold and stormy weather that saw us looking for any indoor activities. We watched films, played on some of New Zealand’s best online casino sites, and cooked up a storm in the kitchen. Thankfully though, the weather cleared and the day dawned bright, clear and hot: finally some heat on my summer holiday! After a quick breakfast in Taupo, My friend Marion and I head to the Hawkes Bay for what was to be the highlight of our week-long-North-Island trip. We are off to Church Road for a tour of their winery and a wine-paired lunch. To say that I was excited would be a serious understatement.

Food & Wine | Papilles Pop-Up Wine Bar Launch Event

Last Tuesday my boyfriend and I attended the launch event for Papilles pop-up wine bar. For one month the old street cafe; Papilles at the Brew, becomes a wine bar at night. Owned by husband and wife team Anne Roque and Jonathan Dupont, Papilles offers guests Frapas (French tapas) and various types of carefully sourced and selected French wine.

Around 50% of the wine selections are available by the glass as well as 500ml carafe, which means you can sample the wide variety that Papilles has to offer.

Food & Wine | Introducing Sagrantino di Montefalco to Ontario Wine Lovers

It will come as no shock that I love wine. It’s been such an integral part of some of my favourite memories. Cheersing with friends, sipping over a romantic meal or just to enjoy alongside a recipe I concoct in the kitchen at home when I have some down time. I also LOVE to discover new wine and tell you all about it!

It’s why when I was introduced to Sagrantino di Montefalco (via our friends at The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario) coming to Ontario this fall, I simply had to tell you. I will be personally stocking up the moment these bottles hit the shelves and I’ve got all the reasons why you should do the same.
