With January well underway, I am immersed in all the excitement that the new year has presented for the team and I around the world. Going into planning mode for our big birthday bash in a few weeks, I am left thinking what gift I want to give myself for the special ocassion. I was lucky enough to be spoiled by friends, family and fantastic partners as 2018 came to a close, but now that I’m looking for a gift for me from me. Thankfully my friends at Rogers have got me covered and after the success of our holiday contest with them – all the incredible items we gave away – I am ready to start 2019 off with a few upgrades of my own.

As I sit down at the office, thinking about travel and upcoming trips we have been planning for weeks, I can’t help but remember taking Julio to Paris for our anniversary last December. Though it was a personal trip meant just for us, it should come as no surprise that we shared the majority of our experience in the city of light with you all. Being that Julio had never been to Europe, I loved watching his reaction to seeing some of the most iconic sights in the world for the first time. Just like with any trip, there is so much to consider. It was a little stressful, but once we got the basics sorted like our passports, packing the suitcases and located gatwick hotel and parking deals (as we were driving down to the airport), it became a lot more manageable. This was an amazing trip and can’t wait to do it again one day.
