With January well underway, I am immersed in all the excitement that the new year has presented for the team and I around the world. Going into planning mode for our big birthday bash in a few weeks, I am left thinking what gift I want to give myself for the special ocassion. I was lucky enough to be spoiled by friends, family and fantastic partners as 2018 came to a close, but now that I’m looking for a gift for me from me. Thankfully my friends at Rogers have got me covered and after the success of our holiday contest with them – all the incredible items we gave away – I am ready to start 2019 off with a few upgrades of my own.
As 2018 came to a close I shared with you all the importance of the year and how hard I had worked on being the best me. This year feels like it’s my time to shine – and I know a lot of you feel the same way. Whether that means taking the trip you have always wanted (Roam Like Home keeping me connected around the world and on the few trips Annick and I have coming up!) or just shaking off the lessons of last year, I find myself smiling a lot more lately.
And I have noticed that a lot of you feel the same way, which makes me really really happy. I follow you too you know!
Positivity is contagious, and I want to continue sharing it in every way I can. SO, I thought to myself, what better way than with a new mobile device? I’ve been eyeing a few of the latest releases from Rogers – including but not limited to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 & Google Pixel 3. Both of which have definitely caught my eye for their camera capability and how they have become favourites of some of my personal favourite bloggers. And what better reason to visit my local Rogers store than to get myself an upgrade than our 5th birthday?!
Now that my home is set up with Ignite TV (click here to watch our amazing video we created last year), I want to continue into another amazing year with Rogers using the best devices and services they have to offer us all from coast-to-coast. And thankfully it has never been easier to upgrade and find the device that I will call mine this year!
With a new TV at home, Ignite TV making it easier to keep up with my favourite shows and Netflix binges, Roam Like Home keeping me connected around the world… it only makes sense to continue the new year vibes with a new phone. I’m considering options for the new case to go on it, a friend’s told me about these custom phone cases so that could be a bit of fun. We’ll see what pans out.
While I make the tough decision of which mobile device I want to upgrade to, I encourage you to do the same. There is something so incredibly refreshing about starting the new year with a new phone!
