For many years, we have partnered with Moores Clothing for their annual #SuitDrive. It has become second nature for our male and female staff to gather their gently used business attire and donate them annually to such a great cause from coast-to-coast. Because if we can help make the difference in the lives of Canadians by simply donating clothing, why wouldn’t we?
You can see our previous posts here & here over the years as we continue to work closely with Moores. I think that many of us can understand the importance of putting your best foot forward. “Dress for the job you want” is something that I try to live by to this day. For those of you who aren’t aware of what the suit drive entails, Moores collects gently used business attire and partners with recipient organizations that provide them to at-risk men and women who are looking to join the workforce. It is meant to help those that need a little help, and we are always looking to support them. But we need YOUR help too!
This year’s celebrity ambassadors include, Patrick J. Adams, Canadian actor, producer and director on hit TV series Suits; and head coaches Dwane Casey (Toronto Raptors), Glen Gulutzan (Calgary Flames) and Guy Boucher (Ottawa Senators). Over the years, the annual #SuitDrive has donated approximately 375,000 items to 70 local non-profits across the country, making a REAL difference in the lives of countless Canadians.

We did look at GoFundMe to see their templates for ‘Thank You’ letters and debated sending some out, but decided that you deserve something a bit special in return.
