I’m sure most of you have realized that I’ve got babies on the brain lately. Evolving into my newest self here on the blog, it’s definitely a forefront for me personally and professionally. I’m ready to work towards being a Dad and so it seems pretty apropos that Dad style is in full force in the fashion world. It’s like the universe is trying to tell me it’s time and I’m living for it.
Now when it comes to style, I always have to be very clear that my husband is owed a lot of the credit for keeping me looking so good. I work on my emotional, mental and physical health but when I leave the house I know I look and feel good with his help.
Working and aligning myself with the right brands over the years has played a large roll in this as well. Should you be one of my OG readers, you’ll know that I’ve been lucky enough to work with New Balance Canada a lot on some pretty incredible content. Click here, here, and here to see just a few!
Sidebar real quick – for those of you who love shoes that fit a busy lifestyle but still want to look good, these photos are for you (and me) to enjoy.
Coming full circle in 2020 and returning to brands that speak to me in my mid thirties and working towards a family, New Balance Canada actually has a pretty spectacular collaboration with Levis coming to Canada this month that I hope to get my hands on. Because I love both brands so much, and it’s so Dad style, it’s like these sure were meant for me.
“Levi’s® and New Balance have teamed up to create the special edition Levi’s® x New Balance 1300 sneaker. A perfect storm of authenticity, dad style and mid 80’s retro, the 1300 sneaker is a combination of the traditional NB 1300 silhouette – which is celebrating its 35th anniversary – and Levi’s® White Oak denim.
Two brands both known for quality, practicality and classic design have created a denim inspired retro sneaker that pair perfectly with Levi’s® jeans.”
I. Am. Obsessed.
The 1300 sneaker include orange accents, including a Levi’s® Orange Tab on the outside left foot, a White Oak woven label on the shoe tongue, and a special hangtag with a “Levi’s® for feet” logo. While New Balance and Levi’s® have often been paired together, even famously so, they’re now woven together into one product with two iconic companies shared values, quality and classic style.
Set to launch via Newbalance.ca and partner websites Friday, April 24th, 2020. Get them before they sell out – because we all know they will.
