I’m not one of those people who loves the cold weather. I’d rather be laying on a warm beach or cuddled up under 50 blankets with a hot tea in hand, watching the cold from somewhere indoors. But, I’m also a huge proponent for the fact that if something makes you uncomfortable or pushes you outside of your comfort zone, that you should explore why you feel that way. And if you’re so inclined to decide to push through it, you can usually come out on the other side with a broader perspective of some of the wonderful facets of who you truly are.
Spending A Weekend in Vancouver
It’s no secret that I’m in love with the West Coast of Canada – and for good reason. No matter where I travel in the world and no matter how many amazing things I experience in other countries, I still feel so lucky to call Canada my home. Recently, I paid a quick visit to Vancouver for the weekend, in order to check out the 30th Anniversary of the David Foster Foundation. Now, what the heck can you do if you’re just visiting a city for such a short amount of time? Actually, quite a lot, my friends.
Where to Hang Out in Boston for the WeekendÂ
Recently, I took a trip with my good friend Gracie in order to explore Maine for a week on a sailboat. And yes, it was amazing. Now, being seasoned experts in travel, at eating copious amounts of food and in general good-time having, our focus was on maximizing these skills on this trip. I’ve been on a few adventures with Gracie in the past, but hadn’t really realized how well we travel together until it was just the two of us. We have similar interests, the same “old lady style” schedule and we both have that easy going, yet organized nature while on the go.
