One of the things I’ve taken for granted living in LA is exploring the city! I travel so much for work that I always forget to set aside time for myself to recharge, reflect and disconnect from the world. Last month, I was lucky enough to join my good friend and her girl squad in Palm Springs to celebrate her bachelorette. I say lucky because I could only manage to stay for a night, because I had to fly to New York on business on Sunday.

We All Scream for Ice Cream!
On a random day of the week, when I should’ve been worried about the daily happenings at work and deadlines, my love of art exhibits and pop up installations found me perched in front of my computer. I was anxiously waiting for my turn in the queue to buy two coveted tickets to the one and only Museum of Ice Cream.
So-Cal Self-Care
I’m currently sitting on a plane back to LA. I took a break from the madness and spent the long weekend with my family in Toronto. I’m writing this while squished in a window seat in the second last row of an American Airlines flight. Two weeks ago I booked a much-needed trip to the Murad Flagship Spa in West Hollywood for a 90 minute facial. Sounds fancy, but its not. The truth is, I haven’t had a facial in over two years and my face needed some TLC.
