Food & Drink | Celebrating Day of the Dead in style

After spending a week in Mexico, I have been reminded how much I love the food & culture of one of my favourite places in the world. Day of the Dead, aka Día de Muertos, is one of the most iconic times of year. To cheers yet another #DayOfTheDead, we have partnered with Altos Tequila to share our new favourite tequila cocktail. Come see what Julio & I are sipping on and how you can recreate it at home!

“Every year, from October 30 to November 2, shrines dedicated to those who have passed on are constructed in many Mexican households. These altars are often decorated with coloured paper garlands and the deceased’s favourite food and drink, then visited by relatives and friends en masse. Offerings placed on the altars represent the four main elements of nature: Earth, Wind, Water & Fire.” – see how we celebrated last year by clicking here.

And let’s be honest, is there anything more beautifully Mexican than a beautiful tequila?
