Lately I’ve been looking back on the path that has lead to me to where I am today. Over five years Do The Daniel has grown and evolved, hosting some pretty spectacular content with you all. Before my career in the blogging world, I worked in marketing. Prior to that I adamantly wanted to be a talent agent in the music industry. I am the BIGGEST fan of Canadian music (hence why being an official JUNOS blogger was so epic for me!) and still have every CD I ever bought in our spare room of the house. When I was invited to preview the Budweiser Stage 25th anniversary exhibit “It Happened Here” I got really excited to walk down memory lane at one of Canada’s most iconic venues.
The exhibit is housed in a way that allows you to literally walk down memory lane and see some of the most iconic names in music, and when they performed at Budweiser Stage. I literally got excited seeing some of the acts and names that were so instrumental (pardon the pun) in my musical education whilst growing up.
“Open from April 25 until May 4 and located at 950 Queen Street West in Toronto, the exhibit will allow music fans to experience decades of memorabilia and photography. The exhibit will also provide fans interactive and engaging installations.
While admission to the exhibit is free of charge, admission tickets can be reserved online at or at the door, with Budweiser available for purchase for those of legal drinking age. All proceeds will be donated to MusiCounts, a music education charity providing access to musical instruments and programs in communities across Canada. For specific details, such as hours of operation, click here. “
The exhibit is a really fun date night idea, or experience for music lovers like myself who want to re-immerse themselves in their memories and love of all things music thanks to Budweiser Canada. I encourage you to check it out for yourself and make sure to join in on the social media conversation by tagging @BudweiserCanada & @BudweiserStage using the #ItHappenedHere and #Budstage hashtags!
