With Catherine in Portugal, the #DTDteam around the world busier than ever, I am coming to realize that I love to be busy. I thrive in a loaded schedule with lots to juggle. But, let’s be honest, it’s also important to take time to unwind as well. To take a moment to enjoy the company of others, or even just have some much needed alone time. I haven’t taken a bath in MONTHS and I’m dying to… A glass of Moet, some music playing, and lots of bubbles. That sounds like heaven right about now.
Recently we had the pleasure of attending the launch party of Moet Chandon Nectar Impérial Rosé – and unlike other events, this one reminded me to put my phone down and enjoy a great conversation with several friends all night long.
Have you ever gotten to a Friday afternoon and realized that you didn’t have an in depth, meaningful moment all week long? All you did was small talk, ask how people are, answer emails, work… This is what I want to change in my life. When I ask someone to meet up for lunch or drinks to catch up, I MEAN IT. And to be relaxation is sitting down to have a face-to-face conversation with good food, and good drinks. I love to laugh, reminisce and really allow my attention to be 100% theirs.
So when I was able to do that alongside Julio at the recent event, it made me appreciate those moments again. Laughing, catching up, and focusing on how great the people in my life and how proud of them I am. I made some new friends that night, and I look forward to getting to know them better as well in 2018. When you focus on the positive in life, it’s as though the universe responds with positive moments. I love that!
So, here are just a few of my favourite #MoetMoment photos from the other night to help inspire you. Sometimes it’s as easy as buying a bottle of Moet, grabbing your BFF, and catching up for an hour. And if you need me, I’ll be drawing myself that bubble bath any minute now…
