How To Celebrate #PrideToronto From Home

While Pride Toronto might not be happening in the way many of us might have imagined, I like to think that #PrideMonth in 2020 is an opportunity for the world to come together more than ever. To celebrate the beauty of the LGBTQ+ community, the inclusionary messaging that Pride represents, and to celebrate what it means to be proud.

That’s why today I am announcing that I am partnering with OLG to bring you BTS with some of the best drag queens I know, support the LGBTQ+ community and helping you to gain access to some of the most anticipated virtual Pride events happening all month long!

What is virtual pride you ask? Well. Most of the programming that would have taken place on Church Street in Toronto is going online to ensure that we all #StayProudStaySafe. Over the coming weeks I’ll be getting you intimate access to drag queens, events sponsored by OLG, and even the Virtual Pride Parade!

So what can we all look forward to? I’m glad you asked. it is more important than ever for the LGTBQ+ community to celebrate together and feel a sense of community. Thankfully OLG has supported our community for the last 15 years and this year is bringing Pride to us all while we stay safe and stay home. This Ontario institution truly understands what being an ally means, and I am so proud to add to their voice this month as a representative of my community.

The following events are going to be fabulous and I encourage you to mark your calendars with me to attend them virtually

From Instagram live with some of my favourite queens, to moments that will inspire you to join in on the virtual pride all month long, I couldn’t be more excited to share this all with you. While we may be apart, the OLG is helping our community feel more connected and stronger than ever before. Share the joy, share the love, and spread the Pride you feel to be celebrating this important time of the year.
