Denim Fit For A Duchess

Friday at the office after one heck of a week, and I’m finally able to sit down and write a few more blog posts about what we’ve been up to this month. This week specifically has been such a reminder about why I love what I do. From my birthday to my new tattoo, friends and fantastic events, I could use a nap but at least I’m smiling. One of the things that also happened this left has me too excited to no share it with you all. You’ll remember that earlier this year I introduced you to Outland Denim (click here), but this week The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, took this brand to a whole new level of exposure. The Secret Ingredient is Always Love

Some of my most cherished memories as a child revolve around cooking and baking. Growing up with a single mom that worked full time, raising two kids on a very fixed budget – so to say it wasn’t easy would be a understatement. As a single mom raising two growing boys with an insatiable appetite, she had to be very innovative in what she made, and savvy in how she shopped.

Today I am lucky enough to be attending several events around the city, and it makes me smile to know that I can share it with you all. But it also makes me remember how much I love driving and how I do miss it in the city of Toronto. Learning More About Great Canadian Cottages

One of my favourite parts about what I get to do here at Do The Daniel is making some incredible friends. Over the past five years, I have met and befriended some of the most inspiring people both here in Canada and abroad. Two of my absolute favourites are the talented Colin & Justin – and so when I found out that this dynamic duo have a new show coming to Cottage Life on October 18th I took the time to sit down and catch up with them about life and what this new endeavour means to them.
