Events | Nordstrom Rideau Centre Opening Gala

I have a confession to make. My name is Catherine and I love department stores. I really do. They hold a sense of adventure for me, full of amazement and mystery all wrapped up into one building. I once lived in the magical land of department stores I like to call London, England. But that’s not where my love affair began. Oh no, my friends. Family Lifestyle | Shoes are Boring. Wear Sneakers.

Now, I’m pretty sure you’ve noticed by now that I have a thing for kid’s shoes. But I bet you didn’t know that Lyric’s very FIRST pair of shoes, were Converse! Pretty much as soon as I found out I was pregnant, I went online and ordered the smallest pair of Classic Converse Chuck Taylor‘s they make! Let me tell you.. they were ADORABLE! I remember getting them in the mail, opening them up and placing them on my (HUGE) belly in anticipation!
