It seems like there’s an awareness month for everything these days, and June just happens to be Potty Training Awareness month. I can remember the days before Lyric was trained, reading all the books and blogs and articles on how to potty train in a weekend… easy as 1-2-3! Uh, ya… ok.. not so much. It took a little longer than I had anticipated, but I knew from the get-go, he wouldn’t be going off to college in diapers, so I had nothing to really stress over. Events | Etsy Summer Festival Tour

By now, you all know my LOVE of all things Etsy! (see here, here and here) I love how they’ve become not just an online store, but have been bringing makers together to showcase their craft, as well as give us the opportunity to touch and feel the product before buying. Etsy has decided to celebrate their 10 year anniversary with a cross-Canada summer festival circuit! The idea came from similar events in other places such as Australia, where street events and markets are a frequent occurrence in the summer months. In fact, I was astonished when doing my research at the quick and easy clean-up process using skip bin hire sydney, so I recommended a similar company over here in Canada to the organisers.

Events | Do NOT miss Summer Solstice: Boots & Bling with us!

When I think about the events of the summer, no image comes to mind more than a white party. There’s many versions of what that means of course, but this summer one of the events I am looking forward to most is Summer Solstice: Boots & Bling! There are moments in my life where I stop for minute to think about how blessed I truly am.
