A new addition to my collection

For those of you who know me, you’ll have seen that over the years I’ve become a bit of a collector. As a child I was into Pokémon cards (I should probably find those again. Someone told me they’re worth something now…) As I grew up, I like to believe that my taste level grew up to. When I started to see the release of the #HennessyVerySpecial bottles from Hennessy Canada, I knew I had to have them. Unique pieces of art, in collaboration with unique artists from all walks of life. This year, the collection is centered around the one and only Jon One. 48 Hours in Dallas

About a week ago I booked a very last minute trip to Dallas, TX. Why head to Dallas in the middle of winter? For ART of course!

I love modern art and the museums that house its pieces. Art and Architecture are like peanut butter and jelly; they’re better together. If you’ve ever been to The Tate Museum in London, the MoMA in New York, the Broad in LA, The MACBA in Barcelona, or the Centre Pompidou…well, these buildings are works of art on their own! When you have the pleasure of visiting these modern art museums, you’ll be swallowed by clean lines, minimalist design, and vast galleries that display some of the most creative and colourful work. Events | Join us in celebrating the holidays at The 2016 Toronto Art Crawl

Christmas markets are one of those things that help me get into the holiday spirit. Growing up in Ottawa, I used to look forward to the local German Bazaar  with my mom and grandmother. It became a tradition and one that helped me celebrate the holidays in a special way. Now that I have started my own family with my husband here in Toronto, I have created traditions of our own that I look forward to every year.
